Synopsis/Plot
Case 39 is a psychological horror film directed by Christian Alvart and starring Renée Zellweger, Ian McShane, Jodelle Ferland, and Bradley Cooper. The story follows Emily Jenkins, a social worker who takes in a young girl named Lilith Sullivan, who is being abused by her parents. Emily is determined to protect Lilith and soon discovers that the girl is being haunted by a mysterious force. As Emily investigates, she realizes that Lilith is being targeted by a demonic entity, and that her parents are part of a cult seeking to sacrifice her. With the help of Detective Barron, Emily must find a way to save Lilith before it’s too late.
The movie is set in the Pacific Northwest and follows Emily as she tries to protect Lilith from the evil forces that are targeting her. Emily and Detective Barron soon discover that Lilith is part of a cult that is trying to sacrifice her to a demonic entity. Emily and Detective Barron must race against time to save Lilith before it is too late.
