Synopsis/Plot
Captain Marvel is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers. The film is set in 1995 and follows Danvers as she becomes one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with questions about her past and identity.
The film is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, and stars Brie Larson as Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, and Annette Bening as MarThe film also features Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Jude Law as Yon-Rogg, and Rune Temte as Bron-Char.
