Synopsis – What to Expect from “Captain EO”
Captain EO is a 1986 sci-fi musical adventure film starring Michael Jackson and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The film follows the story of Captain EO, a space captain who is sent on a mission to save a distant planet from an evil ruler known as the Supreme Leader.
The film begins with EO’s crew, consisting of his robot sidekick, Fuzzball, and two alien musicians, Hooter and Major Domo, arriving on the planet. They are immediately met with hostility from the Supreme Leader and her minions, who capture them and take them to her palace.
At the palace, the Supreme Leader orders EO and his crew to be put to death unless they can entertain her with a song. EO and his crew put on an incredible performance, and the Supreme Leader is so impressed that she decides to spare their lives.
However, the Supreme Leader still has a plan to enslave the planet and EO and his crew must find a way to stop her. With the help of a mysterious being known as the “Spirit of the Universe,” EO and his crew embark on a quest to find the “greatest power in the universe” and use it to defeat the Supreme Leader and save the planet.
