Synopsis/Plot
Candy is a 2006 Australian romantic tragedy film directed by Neil Armfield and written by Luke Davies. It stars Heath Ledger, Abbie Cornish, Geoffrey Rush, and Tom Budge.
The movie follows Candy, a young woman struggling with heroin addiction. Candy is in love with Dan, a fellow addict, and they both go on a turbulent and sometimes violent journey as they try to break free from their addiction. Candy and Dan’s relationship is further complicated by the presence of Casper, a wealthy and charming young man who is determined to win Candy’s heart.
