Synopsis/Plot
Cabin Fever is a horror film released in 2002. It follows a group of college friends as they take a vacation to a remote cabin in the woods. Little do they know, the cabin is in the middle of a flesh-eating virus outbreak. As the virus spreads, the friends become increasingly paranoid and desperate for a way to survive.
The group includes Jeff, a college student who is looking forward to a relaxing weekend away with his friends. His girlfriend, Karen, is a free-spirited hippie who loves the outdoors. Bert is Jeff’s best friend and the comic relief of the group. Marcy is a wild party girl, and Paul is the nerdy one.
The friends arrive at the cabin and start to enjoy their vacation, but strange things begin to happen. They notice a strange rash on the arm of the cabin’s caretaker. As the night progresses, they find a dead animal in the woods and a strange man lurking around the cabin. The next morning, they discover that the caretaker has died from a mysterious illness.
