Synopsis – What to Expect from “Bushwhacked”
Bushwhacked is a 1995 comedy film about a young man, Max Grabelski (Daniel Stern), who is desperate for money. In order to make some quick cash, he signs up to be a courier, delivering packages to various locations. Little does he know that he has been tricked into a life of crime by a group of con artists led by Mr. Skinner (Jon Polito).
Max soon finds himself in way over his head as he is pursued by a ruthless US Marshall (Jon Lovitz) and a mysterious hitman (Michael Jeter). With the help of a friendly truck driver (John C. McGinley) and a runaway girl (Vanessa Lee Chester), Max must outwit the criminals and find a way out of his predicament.
The movie follows Max as he embarks on a wild and dangerous journey across the country. Along the way, he encounters a variety of characters, including a bumbling sheriff (Ray Walston), a shady truck stop waitress (Helen Slater), and a group of bikers (led by Brad Dourif). He also discovers that the package he is delivering is more valuable than he thought.
As Max races against time to deliver the package, he must also dodge the law, outwit the criminals, and protect the innocent people he meets along the way. In the end, Max must use his wit and courage to save himself and the people he has come to care about.
