Synopsis/Plot
Burnt is a 2015 American drama film directed by John Wells and written by Steven Knight. The film stars Bradley Cooper as a chef who had achieved great success in Paris, only to destroy his career with drug and alcohol abuse. He moves to London in an attempt to redeem himself by spearheading a top restaurant that can gain three Michelin stars.
The film follows Adam Jones (Cooper), a two-star Michelin chef who had a promising career in Paris, only to be destroyed by his drug and alcohol abuse. After a stint in rehab, he moves to London and attempts to redeem himself by spearheading a top restaurant that can gain three Michelin stars. He assembles a team of talented people, including the sous-chef Helene (Sienna Miller), to help him in his quest.
However, his past catches up with him and he must confront the mistakes he has made in order to achieve his goal. He must also deal with the pressures of the restaurant industry and the demands of his demanding customers.
The film follows Adam as he struggles to overcome his demons and achieve his goal. Along the way, he finds redemption, love, and friendship. The film is a story of redemption
