Synopsis – What to Expect from “Bulletproof”
Bulletproof is a 1996 action-comedy starring Damon Wayans and Adam Sandler. The story follows two small-time crooks, Archie Moses (Wayans) and Rock Keats (Sandler), who are hired by a mob boss to steal a rare and valuable antique.
The pair soon find out that the antique is actually a bulletproof vest, which the mob boss intends to use to protect himself from his enemies. Unwilling to get involved in the mob’s criminal activities, Archie and Rock decide to keep the vest for themselves and use it to make some money.
Unfortunately, the mob boss soon finds out about their plan and sends out his henchmen to retrieve the vest. Now on the run from the mob, Archie and Rock must use the vest to protect themselves from the mob’s bullets.
In order to stay one step ahead of the mob, Archie and Rock team up with a former cop, Jack Carter (James Caan), who is also trying to bring down the mob boss. With Jack’s help, the trio is able to stay one step ahead of the mob and eventually succeed in retrieving the vest.
In the end, Archie and Rock use the vest to their advantage and make a fortune from it. Along the way, they also learn the importance of friendship and loyalty.
