Synopsis/Plot
Brimstone is a 2016 Western thriller directed by Martin Koolhoven and starring Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce, and Kit Harington. The film follows Liz, a young woman living in the American Old West with her husband and two daughters. Liz’s peaceful life is disrupted when a mysterious and menacing preacher, Reverend Ezekial, arrives in town. As the Reverend begins to target Liz and her family, she discovers that he is connected to her past in a way she never could have imagined.
The film follows Liz as she attempts to protect her family from the Reverend’s wrath and uncover the truth about her dark past. As she digs deeper, she discovers a secret that could cost her everything, as well as the lives of those she loves. With the Reverend hot on her heels, Liz must find a way to survive and protect her family from the evil that has been unleashed upon them.
