Breaking Boundaries: The Science of Our Planet follows renowned scientist and explorer David Attenborough as he travels the world to uncover the latest scientific discoveries about the natural world. Attenborough examines the effects of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution on our planet, and the ways in which humans can work together to protect and preserve the planet’s resources.
The film begins with Attenborough visiting the Arctic, where he examines the effects of global warming on the polar ice caps and the resulting impact on the local wildlife. He then travels to the rainforests of the Amazon, where he studies the effects of deforestation on the environment. From there, he travels to the Great Barrier Reef, where he investigates the effects of pollution and climate change on the delicate ecosystem.
