Synopsis/Plot
Brawl in Cell Block 99 is a 2017 American action-thriller film written and directed by S. Craig Zahler. It stars Vince Vaughn as Bradley Thomas, a former boxer-turned-drug runner, who is sent to prison after a drug deal goes wrong. While in prison, Bradley is forced to fight for his survival against ruthless inmates and a sadistic warden.
The film starts with Bradley, a former boxer, struggling to make ends meet as a tow truck driver. He is offered a job as a drug runner for a local drug kingpin, and he reluctantly takes it. However, the drug deal goes wrong and Bradley is arrested and sent to prison.
Once in prison, Bradley quickly finds himself in a dangerous situation. He is forced to fight for his life against inmates and a sadistic warden. He is also targeted by a rival gang, who want to take control of the prison. Bradley must use his skills from his past boxing career to survive the brutality of prison life.
The film is a gritty and intense drama, focusing on Bradley’s struggle to survive in a violent and unforgiving environment. It features intense and brutal fight scenes, as well as a strong performance from Vaughn
