Synopsis/Plot
Braindead is a 1992 horror-comedy film directed by Peter Jackson. It follows Lionel, a young man who lives with his overbearing mother in a small New Zealand town. When his mother is bitten by a rare Sumatran rat-monkey, Lionel discovers that she is transforming into a zombie. It is up to him to protect his town from the zombie horde that his mother is creating.
The film is full of gory special effects, dark humor, and outrageous slapstick comedy. It follows Lionel as he battles his zombified mother and her ever-growing army of the undead.
