Synopsis/Plot
Boys in the Trees is a coming-of-age drama set in the late 1990s in a small Australian coastal town. It follows two teenage boys, Corey and Jonah, as they wander through their last night of high school and into the night. As they wander through the town, they encounter a variety of people, including a mysterious girl, a group of bullies, and a strange old man. They eventually find themselves in an abandoned amusement park, where they explore the forgotten rides and attractions. Along the way, they share memories and stories, and ultimately confront their fears and anxieties about growing up. As the night progresses, they come to terms with the realities of growing up and the changes that come with it. Boys in the Trees is a poignant and heartfelt look at the struggles of adolescence, and the power of friendship and loyalty.
