Synopsis/Plot
Bound is a crime thriller film directed by the Wachowski siblings and starring Jennifer Tilly, Gina Gershon, Joe Pantoliano and John P. Ryan. The film follows Violet (Tilly) and Corky (Gershon), two women who have a passionate affair while planning to steal $2 million from the mob.
The movie begins with Violet, a former mobster’s girlfriend, being released from prison after a five year stint. She has a plan to steal $2 million from her former lover, Caesar (Pantoliano), a powerful mob boss. To do this, she enlists the help of Corky, a tough ex-convict who is hired to renovate the apartment next door to Violet’s. The two women quickly develop a passionate affair, and Corky agrees to help Violet with her plan.
The two women come up with a daring scheme to steal the money, but they must be careful not to let anyone find out about their relationship or their plans. As they work together, their relationship deepens and they become increasingly involved in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with Caesar and his henchmen.
