Synopsis/Plot
Bone Tomahawk is a 2015 American horror western film directed and co-written by S. Craig Zahler. The film stars Kurt Russell, Patrick Wilson, Matthew Fox, Richard Jenkins, Lili Simmons, and Sid Haig.
The plot follows a group of cowboys and a sheriff who set out to rescue a group of captives from a band of cannibalistic troglodytes that live beyond the edge of civilization. The group of brave men is led by Sheriff Franklin Hunt (Kurt Russell) and includes his loyal deputy Chicory (Richard Jenkins), a gunslinger named John Brooder (Matthew Fox), and an educated gentleman named Arthur O’Dwyer (Patrick Wilson). Along the way, the group encounters many dangers, including hostile Native Americans, a mysterious figure known as “The Professor” (Sid Haig), and the cannibalistic troglodytes.
