Synopsis/Plot

Blue Streak is a 1999 action comedy starring Martin Lawrence, Luke Wilson, and Dave Chappelle. The film follows Miles Logan (Lawrence), a jewel thief who hides a stolen diamond in an abandoned building that is later turned into a police station. In order to retrieve the diamond, Miles poses as a police officer and is assigned to the station.

Miles quickly finds himself in over his head as he must deal with the station’s tough captain, Malone (Peter Greene), and his suspicious partner, Carlson (Wilson). With the help of his old friend, Deacon (Chappelle), Miles attempts to balance his double life as an undercover cop and a jewel thief.

The film follows Miles as he attempts toretrieve the diamond without getting caught, all while trying to keep his two lives separate. Along the way, he must contend with a rival gang of jewel thieves, a corrupt police chief, and his own growing feelings for his partner. In the end, Miles must use his wits and ingenuity to outsmart the bad guys and reclaim the diamond.
