Synopsis – What to Expect from “Blue Steel”
Blue Steel is a 1990 American action thriller film directed by Kathryn Bigelow and starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Ron Silver.
The movie follows Megan Turner (Jamie Lee Curtis), an ambitious rookie cop in New York City. After responding to a convenience store robbery, Megan finds herself embroiled in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a psychotic killer known as “The Cowboy” (Ron Silver).
The Cowboy is a mysterious figure who has been terrorizing the city, killing people with a customized .44 caliber gun. After the convenience store robbery, Megan is determined to bring him to justice, but her superiors are skeptical of her claims and her investigation is hampered by her rookie status.
Despite the obstacles, Megan is determined to find the Cowboy and bring him to justice. She begins to follow a trail of clues, which leads her to an abandoned building where the Cowboy is hiding out. Megan confronts the Cowboy, but he escapes.
Megan is soon joined in her pursuit by a veteran detective, Sgt. Nick Mann (Clancy Brown). Together they race against time to find the Cowboy before he strikes again.
The Cowboy is a master of disguise and manipulation, and Megan and Nick must use all their detective skills to track him down. As they get closer to the Cowboy, Megan and Nick discover that he is not just a killer, but a force of evil with a sinister agenda.
