Synopsis/Plot
Blockers is a 2018 American comedy film directed by Kay Cannon. It stars Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz, and John Cena as three parents who try to stop their daughters from losing their virginity on prom night.
The story follows three teenage girls, Julie, Kayla, and Sam, who make a pact to lose their virginity on prom night. When their parents find out, they team up to stop them from going through with it. The parents, Lisa, Mitchell, and Hunter, must come up with a plan to stop their daughters without embarrassing them or ruining their night.
The parents set out on a wild night, encountering bar fights, prom disasters, and a host of other misadventures. Along the way, they learn to accept their daughters’ choices and embrace their own inner teenager.
