Synopsis – What to Expect from “Blind Date”
Blind Date is a romantic comedy film released in 1987 starring Bruce Willis, Kim Basinger and John Larroquette. The film follows the story of Walter Davis, a successful businessman, who is set up on a blind date by his brother. Walter is initially hesitant to go on a blind date, but his brother insists, claiming it will do him some good.
Walter eventually agrees and is set up with Nadia, a beautiful and mysterious woman. Upon meeting, Walter and Nadia hit it off immediately and embark on a wild night of adventure and romance. They go to a jazz club, a roller skating rink, and a carnival. Along the way, Walter discovers that Nadia is actually the daughter of his boss, a powerful and wealthy man.
Walter and Nadia’s relationship grows stronger as they both discover the truth about each other. Walter eventually decides to take a risk and tell his boss the truth about his relationship with Nadia. His boss is initially angry but eventually gives his blessing.
Walter and Nadia’s relationship continues to grow and they eventually decide to get married. However, their happiness is short-lived as Walter’s brother reveals that he was the one who set them up on the blind date and that he had been paid to do so. Walter is upset and angry, but eventually forgives his brother and decides to move forward with his life and his relationship with Nadia.
