Synopsis/Plot
Blame It on Rio is a 1984 romantic comedy directed by Stanley Donen and starring Michael Caine, Joseph Bologna, Demi Moore, and Michelle Johnson. The movie follows the story of Matthew Hollis (Caine), a middle-aged married man who takes a vacation to Rio de Janeiro with his best friend, Victor Lyons (Bologna). While there, Matthew meets and falls for the beautiful 17-year-old Nicole (Johnson), who is the daughter of Victor’s mistress.
