Synopsis/Plot
Black Sheep is a 2006 New Zealand horror-comedy film directed by Jonathan King and written by King and Stephen Sinclair. The film follows two estranged brothers, Henry and Angus Oldfield, who must reunite to save their family farm from a mutant sheep plague created by an irresponsible genetic engineering experiment.
The film begins with Angus and Henry’s father, Angus Sr., dying from an unknown illness. His dying wish is for his sons to reunite and save the family farm from the evil clutches of his unscrupulous business partner, Grant. Grant has been using the family farm as a testing ground for a new breed of genetically modified sheep, which have been mutated by a virus.
With the help of a local veterinarian, Henry and Angus must battle the mutant sheep and save the farm. Along the way, they must also face their own personal issues and learn to work together as brothers.
The mutant sheep are incredibly strong and aggressive, and they are quickly taking over the farm. Henry and Angus must use their wits and ingenuity to outwit the sheep and take back the farm.
The film is a mix of horror, comedy, and drama, and it is a great example of a film that blends genres
