Synopsis/Plot
Black Knight is a 2001 American comedy film starring Martin Lawrence and directed by Gil Junger. The film follows Jamal Walker, a theme park employee who is magically transported back to the medieval times of 14th century England.
Jamal Walker (Martin Lawrence) is a regular employee at the Medieval World theme park. He is a fast-talking, wise-cracking, and slightly lazy employee who has aspirations of one day becoming a knight. One day, while working at the theme park, he is magically transported back to 14th century England.
In the 14th century, Jamal finds himself in the court of King Leo (Tom Wilkinson), who is in the midst of a battle with the evil Lord Neville (Kevin Conway). Jamal is mistaken for a knight from a neighboring kingdom and is quickly recruited into the King’s service. Despite his initial reluctance, Jamal quickly learns to embrace his newfound identity and uses his modern-day knowledge and wit to help the King defeat Lord Neville. Along the way, he also falls in love with the King’s daughter, Princess Victoria (Marsha Thomason).
With the help of Jamal, King Leo and his army are able to defeat Lord Neville and restore peace to the kingdom. In
