Synopsis/Plot

Black and Blue is a 2019 action-thriller starring Academy Award-nominated actress Naomie Harris as a rookie police officer in New Orleans who accidentally captures the murder of a young drug dealer on her body cam. After realizing that the killer is a corrupt cop, she is forced to go on the run and must rely on both her street smarts and training as a police officer to survive. With the killers hot on her trail, she must evade them while trying to find a way to expose the truth and bring justice to the victim.

The movie follows Alicia West (Harris), a former military veteran who is now a rookie cop in New Orleans. While on patrol one night, she witnesses a drug deal gone wrong and captures it on her body cam. When the drug dealer is killed, she soon discovers that the killer is a corrupt cop and that the police department is trying to cover it up. Fearing for her safety, Alicia goes on the run, with the killer and his crew hot on her trail.
