Synopsis/Plot
Bitter Moon is a 1992 romantic drama directed by Roman Polanski. The film stars Peter Coyote and Emmanuelle Seigner as Nigel and Fiona, a couple who meet on a cruise ship and fall madly in love. However, their relationship quickly becomes complicated when Nigel reveals his dark past and his obsession with Fiona.
The film begins with Nigel and Fiona, a married couple, as they enjoy a cruise ship vacation. They meet a mysterious older man, Oscar (played by Polanski himself) and his young, seductive wife, Mimi (played by Kristin Scott Thomas).
