Synopsis – What to Expect from “Bite”
Bite is a 2015 horror/thriller film directed by Chad Archibald. The movie follows Casey (Elma Begovic), a young woman who is bitten by a mysterious insect while on her honeymoon in Costa Rica. After the bite, Casey begins to experience strange physical and psychological changes. She starts to develop an insatiable hunger for human flesh, and her transformation causes her to become more and more feral.
As her condition worsens, Casey’s husband, Kyle (Annette Wozniak), desperately seeks help from a local doctor. The doctor informs them that the bite has released a virus that is slowly turning Casey into a creature of the night. He also tells them that the only way to reverse the transformation is to find the insect that bit her and extract its venom.
With the help of a local guide, they embark on a quest to find the insect and hopefully save Casey. Along the way, they must battle their own fears and the monsters that lurk in the jungle. As the journey progresses, Casey’s transformation becomes more and more extreme, and the couple must fight to save her before it’s too late.
