Synopsis/Plot
Big Time Adolescence is a coming-of-age comedy-drama film written and directed by Jason Orley.
The movie follows the story of a 16-year-old high school student, Mo (Griffin Gluck), who is taken under the wing of his best friend’s charismatic older brother, Zeke (Pete Davidson). Zeke is a college dropout who is stuck in a perpetual state of adolescence, and Mo looks up to him as a mentor, even though Zeke’s bad influence leads him down a dangerous path.
Through his relationship with Zeke, Mo discovers a newfound sense of freedom and self-confidence. But as his behavior becomes increasingly reckless, Mo’s parents (Jon Cryer and Sydney Sweeney) and school principal (Colson Baker) become increasingly concerned.
The movie is a coming-of-age story that explores the complex relationships between parents, children, and mentors. It also examines the struggles of growing up in a world where the lines between right and wrong are often blurred.
