Synopsis – What to Expect from “Big Nothing”
Big Nothing is a 2006 British-American black comedy-thriller film directed by Jean-Baptiste Andrea and starring David Schwimmer, Simon Pegg, and Alice Eve.
The film follows Charlie (Schwimmer), a former schoolteacher who is down on his luck and desperate for money. He teams up with Gus (Pegg), an eccentric conman, and Josie (Eve), a sexy young woman with a shady past. Together, they hatch a plan to blackmail a local preacher.
The trio set out to steal the preacher’s computer, which they believe contains incriminating evidence against him. But the plan goes awry and soon they find themselves in way over their heads, pursued by a mob boss, a corrupt cop, and the preacher himself.
The movie follows the trio as they try to stay one step ahead of their pursuers and make it out of the situation alive. Along the way, they discover a dark secret about the preacher and the lengths he will go to keep it hidden.
