Synopsis – What to Expect from “Big Gold Brick”
Big Gold Brick is a 2022 action-comedy film directed by Jordan Peele. The movie follows the story of two down-on-their-luck friends, Clyde (Will Ferrell) and Jimmy (Kevin Hart), who stumble upon a mysterious gold brick while searching for buried treasure.
The gold brick turns out to be a key component in a criminal enterprise involving a powerful mob boss (John Goodman) and a corrupt cop (Owen Wilson). Clyde and Jimmy soon find themselves in over their heads as they are pursued by the mob, the police, and a rival treasure hunter (Jason Sudeikis).
In order to save themselves, Clyde and Jimmy must outwit the mob, the police, and the rival treasure hunter, all while trying to stay one step ahead of the law. Along the way, the duo discover that the gold brick is part of a much bigger conspiracy involving a powerful and mysterious figure (Forest Whitaker).
Clyde and Jimmy must team up with a ragtag group of allies, including a former mob enforcer (Terry Crews), an eccentric tech genius (Kumail Nanjiani), and a street-smart hustler (Tiffany Haddish), in order to uncover the truth and stay alive.
