Synopsis – What to Expect from “Beyond the Call to Duty”
Beyond the Call to Duty is a 2016 action-thriller about a group of military veterans who are recruited to form a private security team. The team is hired to protect a group of scientists working on a top-secret project in South America.
The team is led by Jack (Michael Jai White), a decorated veteran who is determined to keep his team safe. Along with Jack are four other veterans: the tough-as-nails sniper, Cole (Jesse Richardson); the tech expert, Tom (Randy Wayne); the tough-but-compassionate medic, Carlos (Laz Alonso); and the rookie, Sean (Garrett Hines).
The team soon discovers that they are not protecting scientists, but a powerful drug cartel. The cartel is using the scientists to develop a powerful new weapon. The team is now in a race against time to stop the cartel and protect the innocent people in the area.
