Synopsis – What to Expect from “Beowulf”
Beowulf is a 1999 American animated fantasy adventure film directed by Graham Baker and based on the Old English epic poem of the same name. The film follows the story of the warrior Beowulf, who is called upon to battle the monster Grendel, who is terrorizing the kingdom of Herot.
The film opens with Beowulf, a legendary warrior, sailing to the kingdom of Herot, which is being terrorized by the monster Grendel. Beowulf and his men arrive in Herot and are welcomed by King Hrothgar, who is grateful for their help. Beowulf is determined to defeat Grendel and restore peace to the kingdom.
Beowulf and his men set out to battle Grendel, but the monster proves to be too powerful for them. Beowulf is forced to retreat, but he is determined to defeat Grendel. He returns to Herot with a plan to trap Grendel in a magical net.
Beowulf and his men build a large wooden hall, which they use to lure Grendel into a trap. When Grendel arrives, Beowulf and his men use the magical net to capture him. Grendel is taken away to be imprisoned in a cave.
