Synopsis – What to Expect from “Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders”
Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders is an animated movie released in 2016. It is a sequel to the 1966 Batman movie and follows the original series’ campy tone.
The movie begins in Gotham City, where Batman (Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward) are fighting off the usual array of villains. Chief among them is the Joker (Jeff Bergman), who is plotting to take over the city. Meanwhile, Catwoman (Julie Newmar) is trying to steal a valuable diamond.
The Dynamic Duo is soon joined by Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone), who helps them battle the villains. However, the Joker has an ace up his sleeve – a powerful new invention that can control the minds of others. With this device, he is able to turn the citizens of Gotham against Batman and his allies.
The heroes must now use all their wits and strength to outwit the Joker and save Gotham. Along the way, they must also confront the Penguin (William Salyers), the Riddler (Wally Wingert), and Egghead (John DiMaggio).
With the help of their trusty Bat-vehicles and gadgets, Batman, Robin, and Batgirl must put a stop to the Joker’s evil plan and restore peace to Gotham City. Will the Caped Crusaders be able to prevail?
