Synopsis – What to Expect from “Barry”
Barry is a 2016 biopic that tells the story of Barack Obama’s formative years as a college student in New York City. The film follows Obama as he struggles to find his place in a diverse city and to understand his own identity.
The film opens with Obama in his early twenties, as he moves to New York City in 1981. He is a student at Columbia University and is looking for a way to fit in.
