Synopsis/Plot
Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale is a 2013 direct-to-video computer-animated film and is the eighteenth entry in the Barbie film series. The film follows Barbie and her sisters, Stacie and Chelsea, as they travel to Switzerland to spend their summer vacation at a riding academy. At the academy, the sisters are each assigned a horse and are taught to ride by the academy’s instructor, Madame Natasha. Along the way, the girls learn the importance of teamwork and friendship as they work together to save the academy from a greedy developer who wants to turn it into a resort.
The sisters soon discover that their horses are actually magical ponies with special powers. With the help of their magical ponies, Barbie and her sisters must work together to save the academy and the ponies’ home in the forest. Along the way, they make some new friends and learn that with determination and courage, anything is possible.
