Synopsis/Plot
Barb Wire is a 1996 science fiction action film starring Pamela Anderson as the titular character, Barb Wire. Set in the post-apocalyptic future of 2017, the United States has been ravaged by a civil war and the government has imposed a totalitarian regime. The city of Steel Harbor, located in the former state of California, is one of the last remaining free zones in the country.
Barb Wire runs a nightclub called the Hammerhead, which serves as a front for her real job as a bounty hunter. She is hired by a mysterious client to rescue Cora Devonshire, a political activist who holds the key to the fate of the city. As Barb embarks on her mission, she is pursued by a ruthless government agent, Axel Hood, who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
Barb must use her wit and strength to stay one step ahead of Hood and his henchmen, while also trying to protect the people she loves. Along the way, she discovers a powerful secret that could bring down the government and restore freedom to the city.
