Synopsis – What to Expect from “Bait”
Bait is an Australian thriller released in 2012. It tells the story of a group of strangers who are trapped in a supermarket after a tsunami hits a small Australian coastal town.
The movie starts with a group of friends, including Josh, his girlfriend Tina, and their friends, Dave and his girlfriend, Zane, enjoying a day out on the beach. Suddenly, a huge tsunami hits the coast, destroying everything in its path. The group is swept up in the water and washed into a supermarket.
Once inside the supermarket, the group discovers that they are not alone. There is a group of criminals who were also swept in by the tsunami and are now holding the supermarket and its customers hostage. The criminals demand that the customers give them all of their money and valuables.
The group must now find a way to escape the supermarket and the criminals before they can be killed. They must use their wits and courage to outsmart the criminals and find a way out.
The movie follows the group as they try to find a way out of the supermarket and the hands of the criminals. Along the way, they must face their fears and confront the criminals in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Will the group be able to escape and make it out alive?
