Synopsis – What to Expect from “Baggage Claim”
Baggage Claim is a romantic comedy about a flight attendant named Montana Moore (Paula Patton), who is desperate to find a husband before her younger sister’s wedding. With only 30 days left, Montana embarks on a wild journey across the US to track down her ex-boyfriends in the hopes of finding the one that could potentially be her future husband.
Montana’s journey begins in Los Angeles, where she meets up with her best friend, Gail (Jill Scott), who helps her come up with a plan to get her to her destination. From there, she travels to cities such as New York, Las Vegas, and Denver in search of the men she used to date. Along the way, Montana meets a wide variety of characters, including a wealthy businessman (Taye Diggs), a smooth-talking playboy (Djimon Hounsou), and a former flame (Derek Luke).
As Montana’s journey progresses, she learns more about herself and discovers that the journey is about more than just finding a husband. She also learns to take risks, to be open to new experiences, and to trust her instincts. In the end, Montana finds the courage to take a chance and finds true love in the most unexpected place.
