Synopsis – What to Expect from “Bad Asses on the Bayou”
Bad Asses on the Bayou is a 2015 action-comedy starring Danny Trejo and Danny Glover as Frank Vega and Bernie Pope, two Vietnam veterans who have been living in Los Angeles since the war. After Frank’s beloved dog is stolen, the two men take a road trip to Louisiana to track down the thief and get the dog back.
Upon arriving in Louisiana, Frank and Bernie quickly discover that the thief is a ruthless drug dealer named Big Red, and that he has been using the dog to help him smuggle drugs. With the help of some local law enforcement officers, Frank and Bernie set out to take down Big Red and his drug-dealing operation.
The two old war veterans soon find themselves in over their heads as Big Red and his gang are more dangerous than they expected. With the help of some colorful locals, Frank and Bernie must use their wits and their combat training to take down Big Red and his gang, and get the dog back safely.
Along the way, Frank and Bernie learn the true meaning of friendship, and gain a newfound appreciation for life. With plenty of action, comedy, and heartwarming moments, Bad Asses on the Bayou is sure to be an enjoyable ride.
