Synopsis – What to Expect from “Bad Ass 2: Bad Asses”
Bad Ass 2: Bad Asses is a 2014 action comedy starring Danny Trejo and Danny Glover. The movie follows the story of Frank Vega (Danny Trejo) and Bernie Pope (Danny Glover), two retired Vietnam veterans who are now living in East Los Angeles.
When a local gang starts to terrorize their neighborhood, the two old-timers take it upon themselves to fight back. With the help of a young streetwise tech-savvy kid named Elijah (Charles S. Dutton), they set out to take down the gang and restore order to the neighborhood.
Frank and Bernie soon discover that the gang is being funded by a corrupt politician named Mayor Diaz (John Amos), who is using the gang to further his own political ambitions. With the help of Elijah, Frank and Bernie devise a plan to take down Diaz and his gang.
The two old-timers must use all of their skills, experience, and street smarts to take down Diaz and his gang. Along the way, they must also deal with the corrupt police force that is aiding Diaz in his criminal activities.
The movie culminates in an epic showdown between Frank and Bernie and Diaz and his gang. In the end, Frank and Bernie are triumphant and Diaz and his gang are defeated. With the help of Elijah, the two old-timers have restored peace and order to the neighborhood.
