Synopsis – What to Expect from “Attrition”
Attrition is a 2018 action-thriller directed by Martin Sheen. It follows the story of a former soldier, John Bradley (Martin Sheen), who is determined to seek revenge after his family is brutally murdered by a group of mercenaries.
The story begins when John is contacted by an old friend, Mike (John Travolta), who tells him about a group of mercenaries, led by the ruthless and powerful Colonel Robert (Billy Zane) who are targeting innocent civilians in a small town. Mike believes that John is the only one who can help them take down the mercenaries.
John teams up with Mike and a small group of mercenaries to take on the Colonel and his men. The group travels to the small town and quickly discovers that the mercenaries are more powerful than they thought. With the help of a local militia, they manage to take out the mercenaries, but not before the Colonel escapes.
John and his team are now determined to track down the Colonel and avenge the deaths of John’s family. They follow the Colonel to a remote island, where they find out he is planning a massive attack on a nearby city. John and his team must now race against time to stop the Colonel before he can launch his attack.
The group engages in an intense battle with the Colonel and his men, and eventually, John manages to defeat the Colonel. With the Colonel defeated, John finally has the closure he needs to move on with his life.
