Synopsis – What to Expect from “Asher”
Asher is a drama/thriller set in modern day Israel. It follows the story of Asher (Ron Perlman), an aging hitman who is living in retirement in the Israeli countryside. He is forced to come out of retirement when his former employer, a powerful crime boss, orders him to take on one last job.
Asher reluctantly accepts the job and travels to Jerusalem, where he is tasked with assassinating a high-ranking government official. Asher soon finds himself in the middle of a dangerous conspiracy involving corruption, betrayal, and murder. He must use all of his skills and cunning to stay one step ahead of his enemies and complete his mission.
Asher must also confront his own inner demons as he struggles to come to terms with his past and the choices he has made in life. With his life on the line, Asher must decide what is more important – his own survival or justice.
As the stakes become higher and the danger escalates, Asher must face his ultimate challenge – to find redemption in a world filled with violence and betrayal.
