Synopsis – What to Expect from “Artists and Models”
Artists and Models is a 1955 musical comedy starring Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. The film follows two roommates, Rick Todd and Eugene Fullstack, who are struggling artists living in New York City. Rick is a painter and Eugene is an aspiring cartoonist. When Eugene’s cartoons get published in a magazine, the pair become instant celebrities.
The duo then decides to capitalize on their newfound fame and move to Hollywood, where they meet two beautiful models, Abigail Parker and Bessie Sparrowhawk. Abigail and Bessie are in search of a new career and Rick and Eugene offer to help them make it in Hollywood.
However, their plans are complicated when they discover that Abigail and Bessie are being pursued by an evil gangster, Joe Fingers, who wants to use them as part of a counterfeiting scheme. Rick and Eugene must now devise a plan to save the girls and protect their newfound fame.
The movie follows the foursome as they try to evade Joe Fingers and his gang, while also trying to make it big in the entertainment industry. Along the way, Rick and Eugene must learn to balance their newfound fame with their creative ambitions and their feelings for Abigail and Bessie.
The film culminates in a thrilling climax as Rick and Eugene must face off against Joe Fingers and his gang in a final showdown. Will the foursome make it out unscathed and achieve their dreams of
