Synopsis – What to Expect from “A.R.C.H.I.E.”
A.R.C.H.I.E. is a 2016 family comedy adventure film about a cutting-edge robot dog, ARCHIE (voiced by Michael J. Fox) who is adopted by a teenage girl, Isabel (played by Samantha Robinson) and her family.
When Isabel’s scientist father, Dr. Robert Miller (played by Michael Kopsa) creates ARCHIE, he programs him with artificial intelligence and the ability to think and act independently. ARCHIE quickly becomes a beloved member of the family, but his advanced abilities quickly draw the attention of a greedy CEO, Mr. Malley (played by Paul Sorvino) who wants to exploit ARCHIE’s abilities for his own gain.
When Malley kidnaps ARCHIE, Isabel and her family must race to rescue him. Along the way, they enlist the help of a mysterious stranger, Max (played by Ryan Grantham), who claims to be an expert in robotics. With the help of Max, the family embarks on a wild adventure to save ARCHIE and put an end to Malley’s devious plan.
On their journey, Isabel and her family must outwit Malley’s henchmen, navigate the dangers of the city, and ultimately confront Malley himself. As they battle their way through a series of obstacles, Isabel learns to trust in ARCHIE and in herself. In the end, the family
