Synopsis – What to Expect from “Archenemy”
Archenemy is a 2020 science fiction action movie directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer.
The movie follows Max Fist (Joe Manganiello), a homeless drifter who claims to be a superhero from an alternate dimension. He has lost his powers and is now stuck in our world, unable to get back to his own. Despite his claims, no one believes him, not even his old friend and confidant, the cynical journalist Hammer (Amy Seimetz).
When a local gang threatens Hammer’s life, Max steps in and uses his newfound powers to protect her. Impressed by his abilities, Hammer decides to investigate Max’s claims and discovers that he is telling the truth.
Together, Max and Hammer team up to take on the powerful crime lord known as The Manager (Glenn Howerton). The Manager is the leader of a powerful criminal organization that has been terrorizing the city, and Max and Hammer must work together to take him down.
With the help of a mysterious vigilante known as Cleo (Skylan Brooks), Max and Hammer embark on an epic journey to take out The Manager and his minions. Along the way, they discover a powerful secret about Max’s past and the real reason why he was sent to this world.
