Synopsis/Plot
Antz is a computer-animated comedy-adventure film released in 1998. It tells the story of Z-4195, a worker ant who is fed up with his regimented life in the ant colony and longs for something more. When he meets the adventurous Princess Bala, he befriends her and together they hatch a plan to break out of the colony and explore the world outside.
The film follows Z and Bala as they attempt to escape the colony and come up against the oppressive ant leader, General Mandible, who is determined to keep the colony in line and prevent any attempts at rebellion. Along the way, Z and Bala must battle giant ants, flying bugs, and the harsh environment of theoutside world. With the help of their friends, they eventually reach their goal and discover the true meaning of freedom. Antz is a visually stunning film that is sure to delight viewers of all ages.
