Synopsis/Plot
Animal House is a classic comedy film directed by John Landis and released in 1978. The movie follows the misadventures of a group of college students at fictional Faber College in 1962. The main characters are members of the Delta Tau Chi fraternity led by the mischievous and rebellious Otter (Tim Matheson). The group of friends also includes the clueless and naive Larry (Tom Hulce), the quiet and studious Pinto (Thomas Hulce), and the boisterous and impulsive Bluto (John Belushi).
The fraternity is constantly at odds with the college administration, particularly Dean Wormer (John Vernon), who is determined to expel the group from the college. The Delta Tau Chi fraternity also faces off against their rivals, the snobbish and wealthy Omega Theta Pi fraternity.
The movie follows the Delta Tau Chi fraternity as they face off against the college administration and the rival fraternity. Along the way, they engage in various hijinks and pranks, including a toga party, a food fight in the college cafeteria, and a parade float that goes awry.
The movie culminates with a climactic battle between the Delta Tau Chi fraternity and the college administration,
