And Soon the Darkness is a 2010 psychological thriller directed by Marcos Efron. It stars Amber Heard and Odette Annable as two American friends who go on a cycling holiday in Argentina.
The film opens with Ellie (Heard) and Stephanie (Annable) arriving in the small town of San Julian, Argentina. They plan to spend the day cycling in the nearby countryside. As they head out on their bikes, they are warned by the locals to stay on the main road and not to take any shortcuts.
