Synopsis/Plot
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is a 2013 comedy film directed by Adam McKay and starring Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and David Koechner. The film is a sequel to the 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and follows the further adventures of Ron Burgundy and the Channel 4 News Team.
The film follows the team as they leave San Diego and move to New York City to take over the first 24-hour news channel. As they adjust to the new city and the pressures of the job, they must also deal with the arrival of a new and ambitious anchor, Jack Lime. With the help of their new boss, they must find a way to stay in the game and keep their jobs.
The film is full of the same zany antics and outrageous humor that made the original Anchorman so popular. Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and David Koechner all bring their unique brand of comedy to the film, and the addition of Jack Lime adds a new layer of comedy to the mix.
