Synopsis/Plot

An American Werewolf in London is a classic 1981 horror comedy directed by John Landis. The movie follows two American college students, David Kessler and Jack Goodman, who are backpacking through England when they are attacked by a werewolf. Jack is killed and David is left with a horrific bite wound. As David recovers in a London hospital, he is plagued by disturbing visions of his dead friend, who warns him that he is becoming a werewolf.

David soon discovers that he is indeed transforming into a werewolf, and he must now come to terms with his new identity. He is aided in his journey by a mysterious Dr. Hirsch, who helps him understand the rules of his transformation and how to keep his werewolf form undercontrol. As David struggles to keep his werewolf form in check, he must also battle a mysterious creature known as the “Wolfman,” who is hunting him down. As he is pursued by the Wolfman, David must also confront his own inner demons and find a way to save himself and those around him from the curse of the werewolf.
