Synopsis – What to Expect from “Amityville: The Evil Escapes”
Amityville: The Evil Escapes is a 1989 horror movie that follows the story of the infamous Amityville House. The movie begins with a family of four—the father, John Baxter (John Amos), the mother, Carolyn (Sandy Ward), and their two children, Laura (Karen Black) and Tim (Jonathan Penner)—moving into the Amityville House.
The family quickly discovers that the house is haunted by an ancient evil force. Strange and terrifying events begin to occur, including a demonic presence that appears to them in the form of a priest. As the family struggles to cope with the supernatural activity, they soon realize that the house is connected to a mysterious cult that has been trying to possess the building for centuries.
With the help of a local priest, Father O’Leary (Richard Lynch), the family discovers that the cult is trying to use the house to release an ancient evil force into the world. The family must find a way to stop the cult and save the world from the evil force before it’s too late.
The movie follows the family as they battle the cult and its minions, as well as the evil force itself. Through a series of intense and terrifying events, the family must use their courage and faith to overcome the evil and save the world.
