Synopsis – What to Expect from “Amityville 3-D”
Amityville 3-D follows the story of John Baxter, a successful real estate agent who is looking to move his family out of the city and into a new home in the suburbs. Little does he know that the house he has chosen is the same one that was the site of the infamous Amityville Horror.
John and his family move in, unaware of the dark history of the house. Soon strange things begin to happen. Objects move on their own and strange noises fill the house. John’s daughter, Susan, is particularly affected by the presence in the house and begins to experience nightmares.
John begins to investigate the house’s history and discovers that the house was the site of a mass murder in the 1970s. He also learns that the house is haunted by the spirit of the murderer, who is seeking revenge.
John and his family must find a way to rid the house of the spirit before it is too late. With the help of a priest, they attempt to drive out the spirit by reciting prayers and performing rituals. However, the spirit is too powerful and refuses to leave.
John must then face the spirit in a battle of wills. With the help of his family, he must find a way to overcome the spirit and save his family.
